1. Dirt, dust and other hazards will become airborne when you walk on the dirty carpet causing it to settle on all of the furniture and bedding. All of your hard work preparing a sanitary room will be futile.
2. Particles that stick to the carpet such as residue from shoes, socks, bare feet, pet hair, can be transferred around the room. When your baby begins crawling these dangers will attach to them and when the baby puts their hand in their mouth these dangers will be carried there.
3. A baby’s sense of smell is one of the most developed of the senses upon birth. What this means that any distasteful orders in the nursery will be sensed to your infant. Who would want that new bundle of joy to have one of their first experiences an undesirable one?
